Jason Fagerman joined Swanton Welding in 1999. Since then, he’s been an integral member of the Swanton Welding Heavy Fabrication team in Wauseon, Ohio. When asked what he does at Swanton, Jason humbly describes himself as the “go-to guy” who anyone with questions comes to.

Dalton has been a part of the Swanton Welding Company family for nearly eleven years and is the structural steel supervisor. Dalton is a Swanton, Ohio native who grew up only a mile from the facility, and, as a child, would ride his bike around the outside of the facility, hoping to peek in and see the bay doors open with the orange glow of welders working on a fabrication project.

For the past 10 years Phil Function has been calling Swanton Welding in Wauseon, Ohio home. When asked what kept him at Swanton for so many years, Phil doesn’t hesitate to mention the personnel who have been good to him since day one. When he first started, he thought he knew how to weld, but has learned many skills from fellow employees and mentors who helped him expand his knowledge to become a well-rounded welder and fabricator.

Swanton Welding Company is its people, and we are ready to spotlight Tony Ballard, one of our fabricators who has been with the company for 13 years in the main facility. Tony has shown his skills in both fabrication and leadership and has fabricated nearly everything that can be fabricated.

Nick Nijakowski is Swanton’s Certified Welding Inspector and one of the most well-rounded employees in the shop. Nick has been with Swanton Welding Company for over thirty years, working his way up from a high school kid sweeping the shop, to welder and fabricator, to his current position.

Swanton Welding Company is its people, and we are ready to spotlight Kody Kessler, one of our plant managers, who has been with the company for 13 years in the main facility and is a valuable member of the Swanton Welding family.
